NOTICE OF SOLICITATION OF AN ALTERNATE PLAN COMMISSION MEMBER
The Town of Grand Chute Plan Commission has an opening for an Alternate Plan Commissioner. The primary role of the Plan Commission is to review development projects for compliance with the Town of Grand Chute Municipal Code and the Town of Grand Chute Comprehensive Plan. Reviews includes Site Plans, Special Exception Permits, Rezoning Requests, Certified Survey Maps and Plats. The Plan Commission provides recommendations to the Town Board for many of these items.
Town of Grand Chute Municipal Code:
§ 16-2 Plan Commission.
A. The Town Board of Supervisors shall appoint the members of the Town Plan Commission. The Town Plan Commission shall consist of seven members, five citizen members with staggered three-year terms and two Town Board members. The Town Board of Supervisors may also appoint one alternate member to the Plan Commission with a three-year term. The alternate member may participate as a voting member at any Town Plan Commission meeting in which one or more of the appointed members are absent.

B. Compensation for Town Plan Commission members shall be set annually by the Town Board to be effective with the term of Town Plan Commission members and once set shall remain in such amount until amended or changed by the Town Board.
Plan Commissioners must be Town of Grand Chute residents. Any interested party should complete the application for appointment and provide any relevant background and qualifications by: July 24, 2026.
