HOLIDAY COLLECTION
There will be no collection on the day of the holiday; that day's collection and the following days will be offset by one day.
For example, if a holiday falls on a Monday, Monday's route will be collected on Tuesday, Tuesday's on Wednesday, and so on. Friday collections will be done on Saturday.
The Town of Grand Chute has determined the following holidays to affect collection:- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day (July 4)
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
CHRISTMAS TREE PICKUP
Christmas trees pickup will run for one week and is typically the first full week of January. Place your real Christmas tree curbside on your regular collection day according to the following:- Place your tree with the trunk facing the roadway.
- Trees in bags/tree covers will NOT be picked up.
- All lights, ornaments, and other decorations must be removed from tree.
- Trees covered in snow or frozen to the ground will NOT be collected.
- Wreaths are not accepted in this collection but can be placed in your garbage cart for disposal.
OVERFLOW PICKUP
Overflow garbage is collected four times per year by the refuse collection contractor. A separate truck is used to collect the overflow items, so it may not be collected at the same time as your regular garbage.
Bulky items must be placed at the roadside by 6:00 a.m. on the scheduled collection day and need to be at least 5' away from your garbage cart.- Accepted items: Furniture, carpeting (cut into 4-foot rolls), bikes, exercise equipment, grills, mowers, free standing cabinets, tables, desks
- NOT accepted items: Appliances, electronics, hazardous items, batteries, propane tanks, fluorescent light bulbs/ballasts, construction materials, recyclable items, yard waste, tires, bagged household waste

If you would like to schedule a separate overflow pickup outside of the weeks that the Town provides, please contact the contracted refuse collection company.
FREE TIRE PICKUP
Tire collection service is offered by the Town two times a year (Spring and Fall). Registration is required.- Maximum of four tires per household
- No larger than 18" tires
- Rims are acceptable as long as they are attached to the tire
The Grand Chute Public Works Office will need to know your address, phone number and the number of tires to be picked up no later than the Friday prior to the scheduled start of collection. Tires that were not pre-registered will not be picked up.

BRANCH PICKUP
The Town provides curbside residential tree branch collection service two times per year in the spring and fall for single-family and two-family residential properties abutting public streets only. This service is intended for branches generated by residents through routine pruning and yard maintenance of trees on their property. It is not intended for large-scale removal or cleanup performed by commercial contractors. Registration is required.
