Yard Waste:
The Town of Grand Chute does not collect leaves or other yard waste (placing them in the roadway is in violation of Town Ordinance). Residents may take these materials to the City of Appleton drop off sites. For more information, visit the City of Appleton website or contact their Public Works Department.
Excess Refuse:
If your refuse doesn’t fit in the cart (e.g. during holidays or while moving), there are several options:- Ask a neighbor if they have room in their cart
- Store non-perishable waste (e.g., wrapping paper, packaging) until the next pickup
- Begin disposing of items well in advance of a move
- Sell, donate, or give away usable items
- Rent a small dumpster
- Contact GFL at (920) 687-2631 for a special pick-up (fees apply)
- Take items to the Outagamie Landfill for disposal
