The Technical Operations Division of the department is responsible for providing specialized investigative and administrative support to the organization. The Technical Operations Division is comprised of the Investigative Services Section, School Resource Officer, Property and Evidence Section, Records/Clerical Section, and school crossing guards.

The Technical Operations Division is administered by Captain Colette Jaeger.
