 The Grand Chute Police Department launched its Police K-9 Program in 2011, when Officer Shawn Enneper and his K-9 partner, Fram, entered service. After 9 years of service to the citizens of Grand Chute, K-9 Fram retired on January 13th, 2021.
In 2019, the Grand Chute Police Department welcomed the addition of K-9 Luka to the K-9 Program. K-9 Luka is partnered with Sergeant Austin Weisnicht.
In 2021, the Grand Chute Police Department welcomed K-9 Kolby to the K-9 Program. K-9 Kolby is partnered with Senior Sergeant Shawn Enneper.
The Police K-9 Program is not only an invaluable resource to the Grand Chute Police Department, but it also serves as an effective tool in the protection and safety of our citizens. The GCPD K-9 Program is funded almost exclusively through donations from the public. All costs associated with the program are paid for through the generosity of individual citizens, groups, and local businesses.
