 Under the Operations Division, the GCFD training program encompasses recruit academy training, ongoing professional development of personnel, recruitment and retention of part-time members, and health and safety initiatives. A Training Committee meets regularly to develop quarterly training plans that address all-hazards, EMS, and soft-skill basic and advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities.
