 The Grand Chute Fire Department provides all-hazard emergency response services in our community, as well as neighboring jurisdictions under automatic and mutual aid agreements and requests. In addition to the fire suppression and emergency medical response services traditionally provided, personnel trained to the technician level are available and equipped to respond to a variety of high-risk / low-frequency special operations incidents including surface water / ice rescues, confined space rescues, and vehicle / machinery extrications. All fire personnel also maintain operations level hazardous materials training, enabling our responders to initiate defensive control measures, and provide support for technician level resources with decontamination and scene management.
