The Public Health Vending Machine is a free community resource. It is stocked with harm reduction and public health items such as naloxone (Narcan), fentanyl test kits, gun locks, COVID-19 tests, smoke alarms, and medication organizers. The inventory will rotate and may change without notice.
It is meant to give people access to items that will help create a stronger and healthier community for all.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services awarded $55,000 in grant funds to the Grand Chute Fire Department for the public health vending machine and the naloxone within. The money comes from the state's $400 million opioid settlement.
