If your court appearance is not mandatory, you may enter a plea of No Contest and pay the forfeiture prior to the appearance date, or set up payment arrangements. You may also enter a plea of Not Guilty prior to your initial appearance if you wish to have a trial.
If you fail to pay your forfeiture or enter a plea before your appearance date a default judgment will be entered against you. The court will enter a plea of no contest and mail you a default letter with the amount due and due date.
Pleas can be e-mailed to clerkofcourt@grandchutewi.gov or mailed to Town of Grand Chute Municipal Court, 1900 W. Grand Chute Blvd., Grand Chute, WI 54913, prior to your initial appearance. When entering a plea by e-mail or by mail, please include your full name, address, phone number and citation number. You may also come to the office to make a plea in writing. |
