PUBLIC NOTICE
The Grand Chute Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment as part of a voluntary program to achieve accreditation by verifying it meets professional standards. This is the agency’s fifth accreditation on-site review.
Administered by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG), the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services.
As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments by phone on Wednesday, December 10th between 1pm and 3pm. To provide comments by phone, call 920-422-7395. Comments will be taken by the WILEAG Assessment Team assigned to conduct this assessment.
Telephone comments are limited to 10 minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with WILEAG’s standards. A copy of the standards is available at the Grand Chute Police Department and links are provided on the department website https://www.grandchutewi.gov/departments/police/general/accreditation/.
